ABSTRACT
Congenital penile torsion is a rare rotational anomaly of the penis, usually directed counterclockwise, and may occur in isolation or with other penile malformations. It is usually asymptomatic but may lead to cosmetic or functional concerns in severe cases. The surgical technique involves penile degloving, resection of Buck’s fascia, making incisions at the penile base, tunica plication, and the use of a dorsal dartos flap. Here we present a 1.5 years old child with 180° counterclockwise penile torsion, with false meatus and normal prepuce.
