ABSTRACT
CASE: Omphalopagus conjoined twins (OCT) are rare and can present with scoliosis and multiple anomalies of major organs system. Management of scoliosis in OCT has not been reported previously. This report presents a case of mirror-image scoliosis of the thoracic spine in OCT and its conservative and surgical management.
CONCLUSION: The male OCT were surgically separated at age 5 months, and their scoliosis was treated conservatively until age 5 years with casting, followed by magnetically controlled growing rods. Treatment of scoliosis in OCT poses unique challenges and requires a collaborative approach involving a team of experts from various disciplines.
