ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION: Multifocal necrotizing fasciitis (NF) represents an exceptional form of affection in children.
AIM: This case report describes a synchronous multifocal NF affecting a 16-month-old girl.
METHOD: The patient’s medical data were analyzed.
RESULTS: Diagnosis was confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging and by positive blood cultures.
CONCLUSION: This case underscored the importance of detecting pediatric NF promptly and treating it aggressively.
