ABSTRACT

A case of severe asthma in pregnancy necessitating extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and early delivery due to severe intrauterine growth restriction. This case documents the development, management and consequences of status asthmaticus in a pregnant patient with poorly controlled severe asthma.
